As negotiations regarding Brexit terms between the United Kingdom and the European Union continue to evolve, the probabilistic implications for investors are also evolving.  Foreign developed markets rightfully account for a meaningful portion of most well-diversified investment portfolios, and the terms of the final Brexit deal will likely have a significant impact on many industries in the developed markets of the European Continent.  From the financial sector to manufacturing, the terms will potentially impact customer relationships, debt and equity funding opportunities, profit margins, and myriad other factors that determine a company’s value and viability.  That being the case, the continued evolution and eventual final terms of the Brexit negotiation will be important to assess when allocating and managing a portfolio with foreign developed markets exposure.
